There is a mandatory orientation charge of $60 for transfer students. This fee cannot be waived. Please make your payment directly to the Office of Orientation and New Student Programs.
There is a Family/Guest Orientation Program that runs concurrent with the student program. The cost of attendance is $50 per family member or guest. Please make your payment directly to the Office of Orientation and New Student Programs.
The current orientation program is designed for adult participation and is not recommended for childgren under 12 years of age. All fees apply to children.
If you will be residing on campus for the spring 2014, you will be able to move into your housing assignment on Wednesday, January 22.
At Buffalo State, advisement is mandatory for all incoming students. You are responsible for making sure you get advised by your department faculty.
Each department has a unique advisement plan.
Before you can register for classes, you must complete the Transfer Pre-Advisement Tutorial.
After completing this workshop, you will receive the alternate pin necessary for your course registration in Banner.
Note: Some departments may place a different alternate pin on your registration. To access your account, your alternate pin will be given to you during your advisement session. Please contact your department if you have questions.
If you have not registered for classes and are interested in changing your major, please contact the Admissions Office.
